How to enable up alerts

Hi,
I am running a XI trial version for testing, I am unable to configure it to send alerts when a host goes up after going down.

I appriciate if you guys can help.

Are you saying you're not sure where to configure the alerts, or that you think you have it configured to do so but it doesn't seem to be working?

There was a bug not fixed in 1.1H but there are also bugs that will fix the sending of notifications in 1.1H. So:
Step 1. Make sure to upgrade/install 1.1H
Step 2. Enter the Core Config Manager and edit the contact for nagiosadmin. Change the template to be the xi_* template.
