Nagios XI SNMP Traps Source IP

Post by AMacintosh »

I have a device which I need to monitor via one IP address and also receive SNMP Traps from that same device from another IP address. How can I best accomplish this? If I use 10.0.0.0 for example for the Up/Down check, how can I configure Traps to be received from 10.0.0.1?

Thanks,

If the ips resolve to the same name, you may be able to getaway with using the same hostname on the device that is returned in the trap.
