SMS FoxBox & NagiosXI

Hey, Can anyone tell me does the SMS Foxbox work with NagiosXI. The following link http://wiki.nagios.org/index.php/ACME_SYSTEMS_SMSFoxBox indicates that some work is required in the back end to make it work with Nagios core. Is it possible to edit the backend in NagiosXi in the same way without the front end wizards bulldozing through it all and wiping out my settings or refusing to work after the changes?

You can't edit Nagios Core's configuration files safely on a system with Nagios XI installed. However, all the changes on that page can also be made graphically through the Core Config Manager. You could also try to import the configuration files, but that isn't guaranteed to work 100% of the time.
