NRPE supporting/working for RHEL 7?

NRPE appears to throw out a message stating that one needs to go to RHEL 6.

Will there be support for RHEL 7?

There most certainly will be, mainly this is due to the new init system systemd\systemctl. I do not have a timeline for you, but we are well aware that this needs to be made available and fully plan to.
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.
