Nagios XI is very flexible and allows you to add mobile carriers. I am not familiar with Siemens MC35i in particular, but I believe you can set it up in Nagios XI.
We have two documents describing how to set SMS Alerts. Please, check these out:

http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... _in_XI.pdf

http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... _Ahmed.pdf

You carrier should provide you with all of the information for the setup.

hi lmiltchev,

Thanks for that information and we had this siemens MC35i for our Nagios box however we want to change from nagios to nagiosxi server which would make it easier and lot better we presume. All I want to know is if its ok to Use siemens MC35i for Nagiosxi server without causing the gateway any interruption because there are other things running on that siemens box as well.. please let me know your inputs
thanks

I don't really know if using the Nagios XI will cause any gateway interruption, because of the these other programs that you are running on the same box.
You should have all of the information on the topic from the documents a sent you.
However, you have a 60-day free trial with Nagios XI. So basically you can setup a test server and see if it is going to work in your environment.
BTW, with a single XI license you can run a production server, a testing environment, and a backup (disaster recovery) server. So you have some good options available.
