Dear All
I want to measure the IOPS during specific times used by the SAN Storage Disks attached to my Redhat and Scientific Linux Machines.
We have not purchased the performance monitoring software from the Storage Vendor as it was very expensive but the basic one coming as default is not that much helpful.
I tried to check this via linux iostat command but it didn't help that much.
Can Nagios software fulfill this requirement?
Thanks in advance for the answer.

There are a few choices here that deal directly with IOPS:
http://exchange.nagios.org/index.php?op ... hword=IOPS
Take a look at them as they may fulfill what you need.
