VMWare install did not complete

I downloaded the demo and installed the software as instructed. As I started to configure the Auto-Discovery, it stated there was an installation problem and that I needed to run 2 scripts as root. The only issue is that I have not found the root password so I can run those scripts. Any suggestions?

If you are using the VMWare pre-built image the default root pass is "nagiosxi" and should be mentioned in the command line login-page banner if using the VMWare console.
