SNMPTT Wizard

Post by jbennett »

When I go to try this wizard I cannot select any hosts. THe wizard doesn't seem to find any hosts. Am I missing something simple here?

By SNMPTT wizard, do you mean SNMP Trap wizard?? If so, what version of XI are you running? And what version of the wizard? Admin > Manage Config Wizards.

Try to run the wizard, then check the apache error log

Code: Select all

tail -30 /var/log/httpd/error_log
and post any relevant errors you see in it.

Run the following commands and show us the output:

Code: Select all

ll -d /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/configwizards/snmp-trap/
ll /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/configwizards/snmp-trap/
Are you having issues with any other wizards as well, for example Bulk Host Cloning and Import wizard? BTW, what is the number of hosts that you see listed under the Nagios XI Installation Profile?

Yes, when I just tried the Bulk Host Cloning and Import wizard, the drop down for the Host list is empty.

Aaaannnnddddd....we may have a problem....

Code: Select all

Total Hosts: 0
Total Services: 0
I should have close to 1000 hosts and close to 23,000 services. When I check the Operations center, I see my hosts and services showing up. *confused*
