Restore XI different OS?
Restore XI different OS?
Ok, my one XI server is on RHEL5. If I use the backup script does it matter if the server I'll restore on is RHEL 5 or 6? It'll be the same bit, 64bit. The XI versions just need to be the same, correct?

That should work fine, the packages would be the big concern, but those are not carried in the backups. The only thing to be really wary of is architecture, specifically pertaining to rrd files, but it sounds like both are 64.
