Hi,
I've had to make some changes to the parent of a few hosts and it isn't being updated in Hypermap?
I've had to do this a fair bit in the past and it's always been updated immediately, the biggest change I've made since it was last working was updating to 2.0.
Anybody else experiencing this?
Thanks,
Hypermap Parent/Child issue after 2.0

Re: Hypermap Parent/Child issue after 2.0
What changes did you make to the parents? By chance did you add multiple parents to a single host?
Re: Hypermap Parent/Child issue after 2.0
Not multiple.
There was a network configuration change so I changed the parent from one host to another.

Re: Hypermap Parent/Child issue after 2.0
was not able to recreate the issue.
I would assume you didn't forget to apply configuration... Did you try clearing the browser's cache and reloading the Hypermap? Do you see the changes you made in the Network Status Map?

I tried clearing the cache as you suggested thanks.
I had a look at the Network Status Map and it's also not displaying correctly either. Looks like I may have broken something somewhere then, any suggestions on where I should be looking?
And yes I've tried applying the configuration a number of times, restarted the VM.

Can you show us a config when you specified a parent/child relationship as an example and a screenshot of the hypermap, showing these hosts?
Also, check to see if the parent/child relationships are properly displayed on the map in Nagios Core:

Ah.. I've noticed that when I make a change in the host configuration for this particular host that I'm having trouble with the status doesn't change to "Not Applied". I also don't get the warning "Changes detected! Apply Configuration...etc".
And also, I've just changed a parent of a different host. It moved over straight away as per normal, however I then went to put it back to where it belongs and it wont go back. Now this host has the same symptoms with the configuration not updating as the previous one.

Do you have any config errors?Ah.. I've noticed that when I make a change in the host configuration for this particular host that I'm having trouble with the status doesn't change to "Not Applied".
CCM->Tools->Write Config Files->Write (check the output for errors)->Verify (check the output for errors)
