Reconfiguring NagiosXI with logs on new partition

Post by nmudie1978 »

Hi guys,

I have recently installed a new partition on my NagiosXI server containing many more GBs. I want to move the logging aspect of NagiosXI to this new partition.... is this as simple as stopping NagiosXI, moving logfiles to new partition, reconfiguring NagiosXI via nagios.cfg and restarting?

hmmmm

Let me know as I dont want to mess anything up :)))

Thanks,
Nick

That would work.
You could also use symlinks.
Or just mount the volume to /usr/local/nagios/var.
