Install failed SuSE Enterprise 11 SP1

Post by jnelson76 »

Anyone have any ideas as to why I might be failing? I installed rsyslog from zypper right before I tried the script.

fs0:/etc # bash setup-linux.sh -s 192.168.5.173 -p 5544
Found syslog-ng 2.0.9
Detected rsyslog 3.18.3
Detected rsyslog work directory /var/spool/rsyslog
Destination Log Server: 192.168.5.173:5544
Creating /etc/rsyslog.d/99-nagioslogserver.conf...
getenforce command not found, assuming SELinux is disabled.
ERROR: rsyslog configuration check failed.

We are currently supporting RHEL and CentOS for Nagios Log Server. SuSE may be added to a future release, but Debian/Ubuntu support will more than likely be first.

Currently Nagios Log Server is only designed and tested on RHEL and CentOS. We have been approaching Ubuntu support with some of our other products, which tells me that it's possible Nagios Log Server will come next. As for right now, there is no workaround. Is there anything else we can help you with?
