Hello,
I am using the VMWare plugin, as described here:
http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ios-XI.pdf
Apparently, the disk space ouptut is reversed, i.e., what is shown as Used space is actually Free Space. This completelly messes up the alerts. Could you please check? We are using it with VMWare ESXi 4.1

You are correct, it should show the free space available. I believe there was or is a bug for this. I don't have an alert from it available at the moment, does it state usage not free in there as well? Could you provide an example for me to show the developers please?

Alternatively take a look at box293_check_vmware. It specifically allows you to alert on free OR used. It's very flexible that way.
