In Nagios Core, in the lower left for the webpage, there is a section named "configuration" under system.
Going there a person could see how a particular host/service was configured for notifications, times etc.....
Is there a similar area in XI?

Yes, Go to Configure -> Core Config Manager -> Services
Find the service you want to see the configuration for
Click the disk icon to display the core configuration file

That's not really what I'm looking for, as I would still need to open each item to see how it is set.
