Checking Federation Services with Nagios

Hello,

Is there a proper way to check if the Federation Services(ADFS) are running properly? with Nagios of course :)

CentOS release 6.5 (Final)
Gnome is not installed
Proxy appears to be in use
VMware Image

I didn't find any suitable plugins on the Nagios Exchange. If there are some, I didn't see them. :)
If you had a script that does the job for you, you could call it with NCPA or NSClient++. I found a link to a powershell script aimed at finding ADFS errors - not sure if this is going to help but here it is:
