Sending SMS from Nagios XI

Hi !!!

For configure this option in Nagios, we have to use a java library that our comunications provider, has shared for do the sms notification.

Then, i can't do it following the instructions for setup de service using a modem o using a mail gateway.

Do you know wich is the script o library that we have to modify for send de sms using different methods that the aforementioned?

We are using:
Nagios XI Version : 2014R2.6
x86_64
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 7.0 (Maipo)
Gnome is not installed

Are you saying that the "default" way for setting up SMS alerts in XI (see our document here) didn't work for you?
If you need to use a different method, I would recommend contacting our sales team at [email protected] and requesting a quote for a custom development.

Certainly your development team can do the work. They will need to get the data passed out of Nagios somehow using perhaps an E-mail or a custom event handler. We can help with those, however before we know what to offer we'd have to have information regarding what your development team wants.

Did the default SMS notification configuration not work for you?
