Passing Custom Variable Names to Action Component

It appears that I can only pass Host & Service Macros to the Action Component - Ref: http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... ponent.pdf
However I need to pass a Custom Host Variable as well - any ideas on how I can do this ?

Currently the actions component only supports the macros listed in the actions component document. Adding custom variables will take some development. Please open a feature request at: http://tracker.nagios.com
