Addon Address fields

I'd like to use the Addon Address fields to specify additional email addresses for contacts set with the xi_host_notification_handler and xi_service_notification_handler notification commands. Is this possible?

What would the reason in changing the command be as opposed to just creating additional contacts and adding them to the specific hosts and services?

It is likely possible however modifying builtin commands would be advised against.
