Recurring/Scheduled Downtime

Post by spurrellian »

Hi All,

I'm new to Nagios XI and have around 700 hosts that are being monitored.

The majority of these hosts have a maintenance window which will be scheduled at different days/times

What would be the easiest/best way to schedule a recurring downtime for these hosts in Nagios XI?

I know I can use the recurring scheduled downtime tool against each individual host and its services, but I don't fancy manually doing this for 700 hosts

Thanks

Paul

Well, I would suggest using the recurring downtime tool, but use it against hostgroups and servicegroups instead. :)

You could also try:

Mass Schedule Host Downtime Component

And the flip side:
Mass Remove Downtime
