Hi,
I am trying to understand some nagios concepts. I saw host and service obsession under the monitoring process
process.PNG
By default they are disabled. I found some information but did not understand exactly
Can you explain what it means and when it is used, please?
Thanks

Host/Service obsession is generally used in distributed Nagios monitoring where you need a Nagios server to send results to a NSCA daemon. If you don't have a specific use case I wouldn't enable it.
This page outlines host and service obsession.
