I think the uom may have changed in the plugin (in an update) as it was incorrect prior to Dec. What does the check's performance data look like currently?

Those negative values are very odd. I wonder if there was an overrun. Do you have any errors in the perfdata logs?

Could you enable the npcd logger as per the FAQ:

Wait 15 minutes, and then rerun the grep:

Could you go to Admin > Manage Config Wizards and post back the version of the MSSQL Server Wizard?
Could you provide a screen capture of the advanced tab for that service so we can see the performance output?
