Warning: configuration file is out of date!

Post by wipro-cloud-services »

Hi ,

I am facing the below issue

I have configured a windows host "A" with Nagios . It is properly configured and monitorig.
Now i want to add this host to a new Host group . So i tried to create host group by going to Core config Mnager -->Host Group-->new. And given the host "A" to the host Group . After save and Apply configuration it is showing the "Warning: configuration file is out of date! ' Error . Then i went to reports and filtered the reports on Host Group , here i am unable to see the Host group created ..?
I am unable to fix this issue . I am using Nagios XI . Please Guide ASAP

Thanks and Regards,

wipro-cloud-services,

Make sure your system time is up to date. You can run is terminal:

Code: Select all

# yum install ntp
# ntpdate pool.ntp.org

Also, check this solution, posted on our wiki page:

http://support.nagios.com/wiki/index.ph ... e.22_Error

Don't forget to restart apache after you are done.

Hope this helps!

Hi Thanks for the reply...

My client is in N. Virginia , so what should i set the timezone in /etc/php.ini file

I am unable to create the Host Group successfully because of " Warning: configuration file is out of date!" error

Thanks and regards,

You should set the timezone depending on where your Nagios server is. If it is NOT in N. Virginia, don't use this time zone. For some additional info check these sites:
