credentials for logging in to a terminal session

Post by humblepie »

I am able to log in using the web interface. I need to be able to open a terminal session and cannot get past the login window. I tried using root and nagios admin with the same passwords I have set on the web interface and it is not being accepted. How can I opaen a terminal session.

You would need to create a nagiosadmin account on the system level and allow it to log in via SSH.

You might want to consult with your Linux admin on this, since it is a bit out of scope.
