No output.

Post by gdolidze »

New to the nagios log i followed the directions and did this
curl -s -O http://10.1.1.154/nagioslogserver/scrip ... p-linux.sh
bash setup-linux.sh -s 10.1.1.154 -p 5544

created a dash board but i get no output.

It worked 1st time i did it but after adding a server to monitor i get no output.

curl -s -O http://10.1.1.154/nagioslogserver/scrip ... p-linux.sh
bash setup-linux.sh -s 10.1.1.154 -p 5544
When you ran the above commands, did you get any output? Error messages or success messages could be useful.

Please run the following on your client node:

Code: Select all

cat /etc/rsyslog.conf
cat /etc/rsyslog.d/*.conf

It looks like you ran the commands that I specified on your Nagios Log Server instance - please run the commands on your remote client instead.

Got it to work.
I had to do it manually i don't know why the script didn't work.

Thanks for reporting back! Could you elaborate on what you mean by having to do it manually? As far as I can tell, the configurations you have posted look alright.
