Hiding Host on the Network Map

Post by nathanplatt »

I've added printers to my network, I want to monitor ink levels but I don't want to see them on my network head. Is there anyway to exlude them from the map by default?

I'm not aware of a way. It may be possible to use custom coordinates and put them out in zombieland somewhere way off your screen. Alternatively you could create a contact that can't see them permission wise, but if I'm not mistaken they still have a place on the map, they just don't show up.

Do either of these options fit the bill? If not, the next best option is probably NagVis.
