Nagios XI not reporting and graphing the downtime period

Hello,

We have been monitoring one of our core routers and NagiosXI have been sending alerts that the host is down and recovering; and also showing on a tactical overview that it is down but the availability report and trend report does not show that it was down at that particular period.

I need to make a report to my service provider but with reports not reflecting what was happening I have a big problem because I have to answer why the monitoring system does not produce the correct report. Can anyone explain why this is as it is this to me please.

What version of Nagios XI are you running?

Could you post the following file so we can review it?

What is the name of the host / service you were trying to run the report on and when was the downtime for those?
What was the period set to when you ran the report?
How did you run the report? Can you provide a screen capture of the advanced options for the report?
