Does Nagios XI support SSH backups using RSA public-key authentication instead of password authentication? Our company does not allow SSH password authentication.

There is already an internal feature request in our system for adding this functionality (task_id=4689).

Will it be implemented in the pending Nagios release, or further down the road?

According to our developers, it won't be implemented in the pending Nagios release but possibly soon after.
