Checking for minimum bandwidth on switch port

Post by jlmoldan »

the check_rrdtraf works great on cisco switches for detecting and alertign for Max bandwidth thresholds - however, is there any way to watch for low thresholds?

i.e. if a link goes below X value? I tried a couple of basic things like -4 and have been searching for a possible other check to address this but have been unsuccessful thus far.

Thanks for any ideas.
