Comparision of Nagios with HP tool

Can we get the Comparision sheet of Nagios with HP Open View. As we need a list of features which can surpass the HP tool and same need to showcase to the client.

As a consulting company that specializes in providing Nagios-based solutions to customers, we developed our own list of comparisons against other, popular monitoring tools. Mostly because each customer is unique and wants to see something different, we end up focusing on what the customer wants to see, rather than all the differences. It's part of our marketing strategy.

While I would love to see a side-by-side comparison of features from Nagios Enterprises, I would think it would be better for you to know what your customer is looking to accomplish, and then focus on the features and benefits that Nagios provides to achieve those goals specifically.

To expand on eloyd's comments... the answer is *no* we don't have the marketing material you're looking for, at least not to the best of my knowledge. We're tech support and while we can certainly say "yes it can do that" or "no it can't" we as a department are ill prepared to make product comparisons.

If you spoke to sales they might have a better answer for you.
