Change Check_APT

I am trying to change the check_apt so that i am only notified if a critical update is available, i do not want to get the warnings for a non critical update.

Has anyone done this, or point me in a direction so I can solve my issue.

There is no option (that I can see) in the plugin's usage for suppressing the "Warning" output for a non critical updates. This is "by design".
You can disable notifications for warning states on these services if this helps.
