Router BGP link monitoring

Dear Team,

Can you please suggest for router bgp link monitoring is supported by check_bgp.pl plugin for "Juniper router m120" Junos 13.2.

if yes please send us configuration link or document if not please suggest how we can achieve.


As we have checked with following command prompt inside libexec on NAgiosXI server side we are getting following error message.

#./check_bgp.pl -H (x.x.x.x-BGP IP) -C public -p (y.y.y.y-router IP)

SNMP Error: remote host not reachable x.x.x.x (BGP ip)

We don't have any specific documentation or guides for BGP however we do have the following guide that shows you how to add new plugins to Nagios XI.

Thanks a lot, It will help us to configure new plugin in to nagiosxi.

We are keen to check either this plugin(check_bgp.pl) is supported on junos juniper device or not
