HELP No lock file found in /usr/local/nagios/var/nagios.lock

not sure what went wrong.. i log into NagiosXI and get this error..

any ideas on how to fix ?

What is the Nagios XI version that you are currently running? Have you tried starting nagios from the web UI by clicking on the actions button next to the "Monitoring Engine" or from the command line by running "service nagios start"?
