Hello,
I've been tasked with checking the output of a file on a json based site.
e.g I need to check the output from the following structure
http://aserver.net/api/customer/status
If I firefox browse to this file it downloads a file with the status showing: ok
What I want to do is display the response from within NAGIOS. I tried to use the Web URL tool and use the URL Content Regular Expression Match but it didnt work. Am I missing something? What would be the syntax?
Any advice and how I can do this in Nagios XI would be great.
Thanks,
David.

Re: checking status of json
I can't load the provided link, can you paste the output of the link (probably in code wraps) here?
Also show us the current filter syntax you're using and we'll then have all we need to debug.
