Nagios XI Active Directory Integration

Hi,

I'm trying to setup AD integration with my Nagios XI instance and have run through the steps in the document (https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf), but when coming to add users I do not see the "Add Users from LDAP/AD" option in the "Manage Users" screen.

Firstly, I am still on the trial licence awaiting my purchased licence key, so I'm thinking this may be the reason the option isn't showing but would like confirmation on this please?

If this isn't the case, does anyone know why I wouldn't be seeing this option, as I have already filled out the details on the "Active Directory Integration component" settings page?

I believe this is a bug. I have been able to replicate it in older versions. For some clarification, what version of XI are you running? The AD component in XI 5.2.0 has come a long ways, and I'd recommend you take it for a test drive. Your license status shouldn't have anything to do with it, at least not that I am aware of.

I'm running Nagios XI 2014R2.7 but the AD Integration component is showing as version 0.4.
Can I upgrade the AD component on its own?

The component is built into XI5 now, so sadly there is not an updated component available.

I'll upgrade to XI5 and see if that fixes my problem.

If I were you, I'd spin up a test instance just to make sure, unless you don't have a lot invested into your current installation of XI.
