Dear Sir,
I am using Nagios XI 5.0 trial version. From rrdtool info, i found that each performance data retention period lasted to store 4 years data. However, in the GUI, I found the combo box only allows selection up to last year.
Is there anything we can tune to display data for the last 4 years (though I haven't used XI for 4 years!)
Thanks.
BR,
Philip

Re: Nagios Xi Host/service performance data retention period
It is possible to setup custom time periods in some of the multistacked performance graph options that go back farther than 1 year. There is no option within the quick views though - at least not today. I don't know that anyone is going to care for that ever as looking back more than 1 year seems more "reporty" to me than it seems "realtime quick look at stuff" which is what the service/host detail pages are for.
Make sense?

Dear Sir
It makes perfect sense. Multistacked performance graph provides a flexibility for manipulating different time series data set.
Thanks

Philip
