Hello All,

Was wondering if I could create a notification set up for a single check on Nagios Core as follows :
First event
Text Alert to Comm Team + Bill
Emails to Comm Team, NOC + Bill

Subsequent Events
Emails to Comm Team, NOC + Bill

Escalation (after 30 minutes, every 30 minutes)
Emails to Comm Team, NOC , Bill &
IT Support Management

Can this be accomplished within a single check ? The Escalation is a normal escalation but can I set up this single check to send out a text message ONLY for the 1st alert? Or do I create a 2nd instance of the check to only send out the text message 1x and let the orig check do the emails and the escalation?

Have the service notify via email (edit: to the Comm Team, NOC + Bill) every time. Create one escalation to only occur on the first notification and have it send the text. Create a second escalation to start emailing the IT support management team.

thanks very much, thats exactly what I wanted to do. wasn't sure about the multiple notifications in a single check.
