Simple Event Corelator tool for Nagios COre

I need help on implementing SEC (Simple Event Corelator tool).I am currently using Nagios® Core™ Version 3.5.0. Please tell how I can implement this? or is there any other best practice I can implement?

I could not find anything on the Nagios Exchange about this.

I found this explanation online:
Simple Event Correlation is an open source tool designed for reading incoming data feeds and performing actions based on user-defined rules.
In this case you could configure SEC to send Passive check results to Nagios.
These could be received by Nagios using different methods like SNMP Traps, or NSCA.
As of May 25th, 2018, all communications with Nagios Enterprises and its employees are covered under our new Privacy Policy.
