Hi Team,

My Current project wants us to monitor weblogic & iplanet.
Environment is not standalone, it is HA. (Active-Passive node).
Requirement: They have both active and passive nodes and they want us to monitor Active nodes all the time . Whenever there is a failover happens, Passive node will be coming up and we need to monitor this node which is up. Gist, it is active-passive setup. Could you please suggest us what to be done in this scenario, any documentation/links available will be of much help, thanks.
Regards,
Ram.

Here is our guide on WebLogic:
https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nag ... ios-XI.pdf

I could not find anything on the Nagios Exchange called iplanet. Does it have any other names?

You are most likely going to need to monitor both nodes all the time. Perhaps there is a check to report which node is the active one.

Nagios just "monitors stuff". It doesn't really know about active-passive nodes. It is up to the plugins to handle that. If the webinject plugin does not handle active-passive modes then you may have to contact the developer of the plugin and see what they can suggest.
