We are trialing enterprise XI and cannot get any of our servers to connect.
For instance we have a linux server running CentOS 6 and we get the handshake error issue on the manager where the server pings but cannot complete the handshake SSL.. etc...
We have set the IP of the manager server in the 2 files listed in different support places we have found but the error still exists. If we turn off the firewall on both the agent and the manger server the error still exists. We have run an NMAP to the manager server with ports 56666 and 56667 successfully as well but the error still exists. Any other suggestions for us to look at for this?
We have some issues on other servers we have tried as well but would like to start with this one.

Have you restarted the xinetd service?
How did you install the NRPE agent?
