how to configure email alert in nagios xi

i'm newbe ini nagios forum, i'm sorry if i'm repost ^^.
i have been buy nagios XI :

License Type: Host-Based
Number of Licensed Hosts: 100
Current Hosts: 72
License Usage: 72% Upgrade your License
Maintenance Status: Current (Expires in 345 days on 2016-12-09) - Renew Now
License Activation
Activation Status: Activated

i want to know, how to configure email alert in nagios xi ?
when i check in " home-manage email setting - send a test email, i have notif like this :



A test email was sent to [email protected]
----
Mailer said: The following From address failed: root@localhost

SMTP server error: 5.7.0 Authentication required
(method=smtp;host=mail.kompas.tv;port=587;smtpauth=true;security=none)
An error occurred sending a test email!

any one help me? thanks

When you configured your email settings (Admin -> Manage Email Settings), did you set a username / password to use for authenticating against your SMTP server?

sorry, to send email problem was able to walk normally, but I have another problem, namely email alerts / notification is only sent to users who create service are monitored.
I hope, alert / notification is sent to a particular mailing list. whether it can be done simultaneously? thanks

I am not completely sure what you are asking here. Are you saying that you want to add additional contacts to a service so that they get an email as well? That should be just as easy as adding another contact to the service, or if you're using contactgroups, adding that contact to the contactgroup that is assigned to the service.
