firewall rules

Post by Francesco »

Hi,
The infrastructure Nagios Fusion + Nagios XI is shown in the image below.
The network A is used from "team H24" and "quality Assurance", the network B is the real monitored network with server, applications , network devices etc etc.
What can I do to allow Nagios Fusion to see all the urls already used in NagiosXI through firewalls?
Thank you
Francesco

Fusion will need port 80/443 access to Nagios XI, and it will be able to query the API for all relevant information. You can set which port Fusion uses (80/443) in the Fusion Web GUI:

It is worth noting that Nagios Fusion will always begin the communication, so your firewall port should be similar to

ALLOW fusion.example.com PORT 443 TO xi.example.com
