Hi,
I saw a web tutorial on this link: "http://library.nagios.com/library/produ ... s-tutorial".

I'd like to ask how the versions are managed editing the NRDS config file.
Is it possible to restore a previous version from NRDS config file?

Here an example:
During the day T0 I create my NRDS config file pippo.local.it node, than I apply al new services.
The day T0+2 I modify the config file (of the same node) and I apply again all the services.
The day T0+3 I would to restore the situation of T0+1.
How can I do using the NRDS file?

That functionality is not currently implemented, the version number is helpful when comparing it to other clients to make sure they have the proper version but unfortunately there isn't a revision system in place, that is a great idea though. I'll create a feature request for it.

At this time, there isn't "versioning" available in the NRDS config manager.

I have filed a feature request for it though, to be similar to how XI treats the config files. The ID is 7510.

Do you have a roadmap that I can have a look? I would find requests planning or which version of Nagios XI will have these features.

We do not currently have a publicly accessible roadmap.

I'll leave this thread open for now so you can request that we check on it at a later date. Let's give it some time though - the developers always have a lot on their plates.
