Nagios capabilities required

Hello

please let me know that, if Nagios is capable of monitoring below activity.


 "The Software shall measure the end users 'experience based on transaction".

 "The Software shall give visibility into user experience without the need to install agents on user desktops".

 "The Software shall analyze all network traffic and alert via snmp trap and syslog of any suspicious activity on the network".


This depends on the desktop. You can use WMI or SSH technically, but agents give you the best flexibility by far.

What are you looking to monitor? You can certainly send traps to XI. You can monitor logs as well. I would take a look at Nagios Log Server, and Nagios Network Analyzer if you're looking for those requirements specifically. https://www.nagios.com/products/
