LDAP Integration is failing

Post by jeffersont »

I'm doing a POC for Nagios XI and encounter a problem with LDAP integration.

The error I got is "Unable to authenticate: Could not connect to the LDAP server selected."

I can login to the Nagios server using my IPA account and can also do a ldapsearch from the Nagios Server.

I'm pretty sure I got the correct setting for LDAP.

When I check the LDAP server logs, this is what I can see...

[18/Feb/2016:01:15:41 -0800] ipalockout_postop - [file ipa_lockout.c, line 503]: Failed to retrieve entry "CN=XXXXXX,dc=XXXXXXXX,dc=XXXXXXX": 32

I find it weird that under the CN=, it shows the user account that I use to authenticate which is not a Common Name...Not sure if CN there do stands for Common Name.

Any Ideas?

Can you show us a screenshot of your configuration on the XI interface?
