IP for ESXI servers changed - Nagios XI 2014R2.7

Hi,

We have Nagios XI 2014R2.7 version and we are monitoring few ESXI hosts. We had configured the hosts using the IP address and not FQDN on Nagios.

Till date it was working fine, but recently on a weekend we had a issue. The IP for the hosts has changed in Nagios.

Don't know if its relevant to ask this, is it something related to the Nagios version - Nagios XI 2014R2.7

I don't see how these IPs will change (on their own) in Nagios XI unless someone made these changes. Do you see anything suspicious in the "Audit" log around the time this happened? Can you show us a screenshot of the failing check, and the actual host config file?
