I installed a new client, (it's been a while since I've done this) I have CPU, Disk, Memory Usage, PING and Uptime selected. The only thing that works is PING. I've copied the nsclient.ini file and restarted the Nagios service on that server and I still get a CRITICAL- Socket timeout after 10 seconds when I have the firewall turned on and when it's off I get " connect to address 172.16.89.51 and port 12489: Connection refused"
What do I need to do to make this work?
Thanks,
Services Failing on install of new client

Ports 5666 and 12489 should both be opened. I assume this is NSClient on a Windows machine?

I turn the firewall off of the Windows Server 2012 machine and I still get the "connect to address 172.16.89.51 and port 12489 connection refused?
If the firewall is off all ports should be open?
If the firewall is off all ports should be open?

Probably Windows UAC being a bully. Are we good to close this thread?
