Imported MIBs Have .mib Extension. Is that Okay?

Imported MIBs Have .mib Extension. Is that Okay?

Hello,

When I look at the MIBs under Admin -> Manage MIBs, they all have .txt extension.

I just imported a vendor MIB for my APC UPS and the MIB has .mib extension.

See screenshot. Is that an issue?

As I understand it, the file extensions do not matter- I have seen .txt, .mib, or no extension at all in use.
