Configuration not Synched

hello!

i have this problem regarding the deleted hosts and services in Nagios XI. I Tried deleting a certain host and its services from Nagios Core Config Manager. When i first hit on 'Apply Configuration' an error occurred during configuration verification which, of course lead to unsuccessful application of configuration. But, when i hit 'Try Again' it says 'Configuration applied successfully. This both happens for hosts and services configuration.

After the configuration, i go back to Details - Service Detail and the host i deleted is still there and nagios seem to continue monitoring it. Also, i noticed the last date check, its 2018, per checking on my system clock and hardware clock, i have the current date. Enclosed are the screenshots for your reference.

what i already done:
- repairing the database. (following the instructions from the pdf file from Nagios Library)
- restarting the nagios server

specs:
- CentOS 5.5
- kernel 2.6
- Nagios XI 2011R1.7

Additionally, i already tried doing the instructions on Nagios Support Wiki for Ghost Hosts. And the instructions posted in the forum related to my problem but still the same problem. thanks.

Try using the Write Config Tool and see if you are going to get any error messages. Go to: Core Config Manager->Tools->Write Config Files and click on the four "Go" buttons. Post the output of the "Check configuration files: Go".

as of todate, this problem is already solved. I don't know exactly how, just when i boot my nagios server the 'ghost hosts and services' are already gone. anyways, i already tried using that tool yesterday (before i post my issue), it displays 0 error and warning.
