Scheduled Downtime for Services in Hostgroup not working

Post by vAJ »

XI 5.2.5 fresh install from source. RHEL 7

Front Hostgroup Summary, click command icon for a hostgroup, then 'schedule downtime for all services in this hostgroup'. Put in parameters (including schedule hosts for downtime too) and Commit. Then go to 'Scheduled Downtime' under 'Incident Management'... nothing. Nothing under hosts or services. Even let it sit for a while to see if it would eventually populate.

The hosts are added to the hostgroup, not the other way around. I'll attempt to reverse that and see if the schedule takes.

Nope. That didn't work either.

Scheduling an individual service for downtime works, but not through hostgroup.

Confirmed this isn't working in my dev instance as well.

I've been doing a massive amount of Nagios XI testing for two customers over the past week (and into next). I'll add this to the list of things we're investigating.

Hi,

I just ran into this as well. Just before a large DR test. :( I was able to get around by disabling notifications for the servers.

I am running 5.2.5 as well.

This has been reported and the developers have implemented a fix, it is scheduled to be included in the 5.2.6 release.
