Bulk Host name renaming

Hi Team,

We have configured our Network devices with the IP address and our client is asking to have the display as (Hostname-IPAddress-StoresName-Location-Country). Is there any script or a way that I can rename them without hampering my performance data? Can this be shared from MYSQL database front. I have close to 3000 Network devices. Please advice. thanks.

Go to Configure -> CCM -> Tools -> Renaming Tool. Here you can rename hosts/services and keep their performance data. I do not know of a scripted method for such, and this would be quite tricky in so far as leaving performance data intact.
